“Property just as described. Location was perfect. Agree with the other reviewers a really great accommodation.”

“The location and quality of the accommodation were excellent. The space was beautiful, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout—from the bathroom to the convenience of having an air fryer and microwave. My only comments would be regarding a few amenities. The TV streaming apps lagged for one night during our stay but improved the following day, so perhaps another guest had already provided that feedback. It also gets quite dark after hours, which is understandable, but made it a little challenging to see where we were walking. A dim floor/walkway motion-sensor light near each unit could be a helpful addition—enough to provide visibility without disturbing guests in their units. The information provided before check-in was great, although I honestly forgot to refer back to it before reaching out to the offsite front desk service. A small pamphlet or quick-reference guide in each unit could be a convenient addition. That said, even without an onsite front desk, I was impressed by how convenient the virtual front desk was. They were helpful and responded without delay. Overall, this was a beautiful and convenient place to stay, especially for being close to State Street and all the restaurants, shops, and scenery. The beach is about a 20-minute walk away, but I think that really comes down to personal preference. For us, being closer to downtown was the priority rather than being right by the beach, and this location worked perfectly for that. If being within immediate walking distance of the beach is more important to someone, that would simply be something to consider when choosing where to stay. FYI: In Unit 5, the hardware between the closet doors and drawer needs to be reinstalled, as it kept getting caught on the drawer handle.”

“This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Fully stocked with everything you might need and then some. Clean, comfortable and convenient to walk around Santa Barbara.”

“Amazing stay and would definitely come back next time we’re in Santa Barbara.”

“Beyond being a very convenient and affordable stay for its location casa de la vina was also a luxurious experience. We really enjoyed all of the extra amenities from extra toiletries in the room to the Nespresso machine as well as full microwave and refrigerator in the room. There was plenty of storage for clothing for our 5-day long stay, the AC was strong and kept the room feeling refreshing every time we came back. It took us a little getting used to but we also liked the ability to customize the amount of daylight that entered the room, allowing us to choose from natural sunlight to overhead lighting which is especially nice to feel like we're enjoying the Santa Barbara sun even when we're hiding in our room from the heat. I think the only amenity that would have made this day better would have been a handheld shower head because I have medical needs that make it hard to wash the lower half of my body and a waterfall shower head was a little bit difficult. That's more of a personal issue, aside from that we are more likely to come to Santa Barbara for return visit knowing that I stay like this is so readily available and close to State Street.”
